Single Minute Exchange of Dies (SMED) [Onsite]


Description:

The Single Minute Exchange of Dies (SMED) workshop is an intensive training designed to enhance manufacturing efficiency by reducing changeover times. The workshop begins with an introduction to SMED principles, highlighting the importance of quick changeovers in lean manufacturing. Participants then engage in hands-on activities to identify and differentiate between internal and external setup tasks. The training includes practical exercises on streamlining processes, converting internal tasks to external ones, and implementing standardized procedures. Attendees will learn through both theoretical instruction and practical application in their own work environments. This event will be conducted in a 3-Day blitz activity.

Participants will experience hands-on training and classroom-style lecture covering the principles and best practices of SMED. Team objectives:
