The latest technologies for improving quality and productivity within the automotive industry will be showcased May 8 - 9 at the 2019 Innovation Conference. Exhibitors will display products that illustrate emerging technologies and provide a competitive edge. The annual event is coordinated by Mississippi State University's Center for Advanced Vehicular Systems-Extension (CAVS-E) and held at the Nissan North America Plant in Canton, MS.
The automotive industry is one of the fastest growing industries in Mississippi. The Innovation Conference brings auto manufacturers and suppliers together with technology, assembly equipment, and companies developing tools, components and robots to explore innovations and develop new technologies to improve business.
Over 1,100 people attended last year's conference, with exhibitors from 40 companies. Attendees gained valuable insight into new and innovative technologies to improve the quality of their products. The 2019 Innovation Conference will offer exhibitors a Demonstration Area to highlight their product and break-out sessions that will cover topics of interest to engineers and technical professionals. The conference will be held from 8:00 am until 5:00 pm on Wednesday May 8 and from 8:00 am until noon on Thursday May 9. No registration is required to attend.
